Student Testimony about God using The Life Book
“My name is Mariah and I’m 14 years old. I was raised in a christian household and went to church with my grandma and grandpa every Sunday and participated in Sunday school and when I moved churches I went to youth group every Wednesday. I knew all about Jesus and stories about him and what he did for us. But I don’t think I had a real relationship with him, sure I would pray to him for help on tests and sports and things, but not from my heart. My grandma passed away when I was in fifth grade. I prayed every night for her to get better and be with us longer in those last two months. After I lost hope and stopped praying and thought horrible things like God has deserted me, I was depressed all the time and lashed out at my grandpa and friends for emotions I wasn’t about to talk about. I kept everything inside and soon, I’m sure it was the devil that took hold of me. I started cutting to release some of the stress, hanging out with my sister which led to alcohol, cigarettes, and at one time drugs, which led to even more turmoil, depression, and hopelessness. Fortunately I had two good friends by my side which I fell was a blessing and once this year started I knew I had to make a change.
The Life Book has made the most dramatic change. It has made me realize how important a relationship with God is and that he is the way, truth, and life, and the only way to heaven. I give thanks to my friend for introducing me to The Life Book that led me to him. Before reading it I had not asked Jesus into my heart.
I thank you for making this book, for my sake and everyone that reads it and has the same effect on them as it has me. I hope to share it with my friends and hopefully help them on their journey too.”

hi this is mariah, the girl that posted this story i was amazed wen i saw it on here! thank you! i just want to let u guys know the update. since i’ve been going to church (the church the friend attends that gave me my life book) i have been saved and recently baptized which i am so greatful for. during school i was reading my life book and a close friend of mine asked wat it was and if she could look at it, asked if i could get one for her and before i knew it i had at least eight people asking for a copy including two teachers, i am positive they will all be changed at least a little by the life book considering the change it brought to my life
